How to recover deleted files or photos from Google Drive

How to retrieve pictures from Google Drive


1. First open the Google Drive app from the device.


2. When you open it, you will see the Trash/Bin Folder option.


3. After opening the Trash/Bin folder, you can see all the deleted files. Now right click on the files you want to return or restore.


4. Clicking on the right button will bring up two menus called Re-Store and Delete Forever. After selecting the re-store option, the deleted file will go to the previous place. In this case, mobile users will find the re-store button by clicking on the three dot button on the right side of the file.


You can also take the help of drive experts if you want. In that case you need to contact us by calling or chatting at the help desk. However, you can re-store or bring back the files you need up to 30 days. However, after more than 30 days, it is not possible to bring back the old file.


How to bring back photos from Google Photos


1. First open the Google Photos app from the device.


2. You will see the Library tab at the bottom of the screen.


3. When you click on the Library tab, you will see the Trash/Bin folder.


4. When you open the Trash/Bin folder, you will see the pictures.


5. If you click on the re-store button to bring back the deleted pictures, the pictures will go back to the previous place.


Note that users will be able to retrieve a deleted file in Google Photos within 60 days. However, if it lasts for more than 60 days, it cannot be returned.
