If the mobile is lost

3. Then use Find My Android device to locate the phone. Android smartphones have a built-in Find My Mobile service. This allows users to locate the lost phone linked to a Google account.

This Find My Device service is available on all phones with Android 8 or higher. This feature is the default in most phones. but, it should be checked whether or not the feature exists at all.

The user also needs to be logged in to the phone's Google account and location services. The case is different from the case of Samsung. Because the company has its own Find My Mobile feature.

4. Lock the phone and send a message. The Find My Device tool feature also lets users lock lost phones. Not only that. Also gives the opportunity to send a message. Using this feature you can let other people know that this phone is actually yours.

5. Delete all data on the phone. After all, if you're sure the phone is stolen or lost, delete all data from the Find My Device tool.

6. Check your phone's location with the Google Maps Timeline feature. You can also check the last location of your phone using Google Maps. This allows you to track the phone.

7. File an FIR later. Whenever you block the phone, file an FIR. This will keep you safe.
